CBB IPM and Research Update Workshop - Hilo

This class has been cancelled until further notice due to COVID-19.

Coffee berry borer (CBB) is controlled using integrated pest management (IPM), which combinesvarious techniques including field sanitation, pruning, spraying of pesticides, and harvest, as no single method will control CBB on its own.

UH-CTAHR, USDA and HDOA welcomes you to join us at this informational CBB IPM and research update workshop for coffee farmers.

If you have been to a CBB 101 workshop in the past, understand the basics of CBB and its management, have been able to manage CBB to a level that is satisfactory to you, but want to learn about current techniques and research, this workshop is for you.

Topics will include:
  • CBB Integrated Pest Management Updates
  • HDOA Beauveria Subsidy Program - Save ($) on approved-Beauveria products
  • Update on current coffee research projects
