UH CTAHR’s Cooperative Extension, the Hawaii Tropical Fruit Growers and Māʻona Community Gardens invite you to participate in a hands-on lychee airlayering field day for commercial orchard crop growers.
Lychee (Litchi chinensis) are typically propagated by airlayer, otherwise called marcottage. Event participants will learn about lychee propagation, care, and will prepare their own airlayers to take home at a later date.
Bring clean, sharp pruning shears & standard slip-joint pliers.

The event location is likely to be very hot and humid and may receive rain. Please come prepared. We recommend:
Registration is required for each participant. This class is limited to a total of 30 participants.
